Alfreda _ Artist Management

Alfreda is a 19 year old singer/songwriter.

For the past two years she has been making original music with a producer in London, but now she is writing her debut album in Berlin with songwriter Craig Walker, who was in 90's bands 'Power of Dreams' and 'Archive'. Her new music features appearances from musicians such as Tyler Pope (LCD Soundsystem) and Knox Chandler (Siouxsie and the Banshees). When she is not recording in Berlin, she is playing gigs around London with her band, and aims to have her album ready at the end of summer 2017.

Alfreda grew up in New York City, which is where her father, poet/playwright Glyn Maxwell, encouraged her to start writing. It was when she and her family relocated to England in 2006 that she began singing and making her own music. She is the goddaughter of the late fashion icon Isabella Blow, who has partly inspired her style and aesthetic.

Alfreda's musical influences are Radiohead, Kate Bush and Lady Gaga. But she cites Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Alex Turner and Joni Mitchell as her lyrical idols.
